Thanks God..My 9 Month baby fall down from stair

I think I should record it down as a memory to thanks God for His miracle.

It is not happen on today, but, 1 month ago, January 08.

The way to stair is equip with a simple door to prevent baby to go in. Just a piece of plywood and got lock on it. And also, I putting a piece of sticking bar to allow the door stick together after the door been close. But that day, before I put my 9 months baby into the baby chair, I already checked that the door is close and locked properly. Then I start go for enjoy myself (playing pc game just sit near by) and let her play with nephew who is about 6 years old.

After a while, my father-in-law come back. He open the lock, open the 'door' then, he slap the door to close it. Me myself enjoy playing pc and nephew sleep at the floor. Father in law come back and not not the door, assuming the door is close properly with the slap and stick together as the sticker bar is there without lock it back. But, unfortunately, the door is not close properly. The force of slap make the door reflect back rather than stick there. (he only have 1 hand movable after hit by stroke disease)

No one aware about it. Then, accident take place. That time is about 4:30pm, week day, wife still working. My baby go with her baby chair to the door, use her hand to open it wider and fall down to the bottom of the stair. The stair is not a corner type, it is direct from 1st floor to Ground floor type. No corner at the middle. So, she only will fall from top which is 1st floor to ground floor. Non stop. Then crying. Then we aware of it.

Too late, accident already happen. Miracle happen. The baby look like no injure at all. No bloody, no much surface harm. Only keep crying.

Without waiting long, even without any outside sickness, I send her to nearby child specialist clinic. The doctor check her and found nothing. No medicine been given. Only advise us (me and wife, as I meet my wife on my way to clinic), if she got high fever or any abnormal symptom tonight, send her direct to General Hospital. Nothing have happen that night, only a bit fever.

The next day, I bring her to other child specialist clinic to check the fever. We informed doctor about what happen yesterday. Doctor did a physical checking and only give fever medicine.

As I will leave Miri on the coming Sunday, I decided to go for a brain scanning to check any damage to the brain. And yet, found nothing. After 1 month, the baby still normal. So, it is really miracle as the stair is very high, about 12 ft plus. And the baby only 9 months plus old.

As a normal person, a normal case, even a man also, it may cause serious injury. But, a 9 months old baby facing nothing serious. Only fever because of surprise.

So, only can say, thanks God for protect my daughter because of my careless. Thanks God.
